Live Wire Campus Show! – Rescheduled Oct 29

Goodnight Argent had a mechanical failure with their gear trailer and had to reschedule the performance from Wednesday. So here are the latest details we have for a new date.
A true celebration of College Radio and indie music! Join us as we present Goodnight Argent live on October 29th in the Bowen Thompson Student Union multipurpose room. This is a free show that will be taped as a special episode of Live Wire season 2! Bring your friends and enjoy this free live concert brought to you by WBGU-FM and our very own Andrea Adams-Miller. T-shirts, stickers and giveaways will be available throughout the show. This concert starts at 1 pm. Do not miss it!
Also – a special night time show at Grounds for Thought! We will host Goodnight Argent at Grounds for Thought at 8 pm. If you have work during the day join us in the evening downtown! All shows are free.
Live Wire Premiere Party

Live Wire season 1 is finally ready for release! We’re having a release / premiere party to share it with the BG community. The release party will be held at the Clazel Theatre from 7 – 9 pm on Thursday September 13th. See performances by The Dumb Easies, Kitty Glitter, Morgen Stiegler and the BGSU Jazz Faculty, Ten40 Acapella, WEe, Joey and the Traitors, A Gun for Hire, the Solar 8, Sarah Donnelly, Indigo and Ryan Dunlap. Join us as we relieve the first season, share plans for the forthcoming second season and see how you can order a special souvenir that will help fund and sustain this unique program. Learn about FCC guidelines, basic studio operations and become part of the talented staff(s) of BG’s fine radio establishments WBGU-FM, Falcon Radio and Radio Sports. This is a one day session on August 25, 2012 from approximately 9 am to 6 pm. Perfect for students, faculty, staff and passionate members of the BG community. Our very own Brody Ramone interviewed Imagine Dragons, a band on the rise from Las Vegas, Nevada. They are finishing a spring tour in support of their debut EP and will finish a full length album in June. Brody had a chance to sit down with the band when they appeared at the A&R Bar in Columbus Ohio. This interview is cut in two pieces.
