BGs Magical Run Continues tonight Against Michigan at 8!

Can the Magic continue for the Bowling Green Falcons?
The run for the Bowling Green Hockey team has been unprecedented and unbelievable to say the least. A team that could barely win a conference game and finished dead last in the CCHA, winning two three game series against Northern Michigan and top ranked Ferris State. Helped by Dan DeSalvo’s offensive explosion last weekend with 5 goals and a hat trick in the finale, including the game winner, this group of largely Freshman and Sophomore players has gone from unknown to read hot. Today they face Michigan who is a hockey powerhouse and has pounded their way through the CCHA, but in one of the meetings this year the Falcons got the better of them and tonight Bowling Green will find out if the shoe fits and put them in place to win their first CCHA championship in 20+ years.

WBGU 88.1 FM Indie 5K Race or Walk!!!

WBGU is hosting it’s first annual Indie 5K Race this October 1st at 9 a.m. WBGU 88.1 FM is hosting this event to help bring the community together to support local radio in Bowling Green. Every participant will receive a 5K race shirt. Race check-in begins at 7 a.m. on race day and we will begin the race at 9 a.m. at Perry Field Field House. Fill out the shipping information as you would fill out a registration. Nothing will be shipped to you, this is just being used as away to register your information. Liability forms will be signed during check-in time the day of the race! Registration cost is $20 on the day of the race. So sign up early and receive $5 off registration cost!!! A map of the race course around campus can be viewed here!
