Can the Magic continue for the Bowling Green Falcons?

The run for the Bowling Green Hockey team has been unprecedented and unbelievable to say the least. A team that could barely win a conference game and finished dead last in the CCHA, winning two three game series against Northern Michigan and top ranked Ferris State. Helped by Dan DeSalvo’s offensive explosion last weekend with 5 goals and a hat trick in the finale, including the game winner, this group of largely Freshman and Sophomore players has gone from unknown to read hot. Today they face Michigan who is a hockey powerhouse and has pounded their way through the CCHA, but in one of the meetings this year the Falcons got the better of them and tonight Bowling Green will find out if the shoe fits and put them in place to win their first CCHA championship in 20+ years.
