8mm (@8mmGirl and @seanbeavan or www.8mmlovesyou.com):

Husband and wife team of Juliette Beavan on vox, Sean Beavan on vox make up this amazing band. If you’re a fan of or have at least heard Nine Inch Nails (Pretty Hate Machine, the Downward Spiral), Marilyn Manson (Mechanical Animals, Antichrist Superstar), No Doubt, The Presets, System for a Down..then you’ve heard Sean’s production, mixing, and/or engineering work. They’re based in LA and formed in 2004 they’ve just released their second album, Between The Devil and Two Black Hearts. A little noir, pop, rock, electro…the genres blend and things get  a little sexy.

Jordon Cook aka: Reignwolf

Jordan Cook aka Reignwolf is a Canadian rocker from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan whom to see him live is to literally have your face melted off. Jordan makes dense, crunchy rock and roll that wallows in the blues in a good way with a voice that’s as menacing as it is sexy and his guitar skills border on virtuosic. He got his hands on a guitar when he was around 6 or 7 and by the time he was 15 he was playing with the likes of BB King. Before recording the songs for his full-length album, Seven Deadly Sins, he worked the tunes out with some friends like Ben Sheppard (Soundgarden bassist) and Matt Chamberlin (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam drummer). The guy is a legend just waiting to happen.

Voxhaul Broadcast (@voxhaulb or www.voxhaulbroadcast.com)

This Los Angeles quartet of David Dennis (Vox/Guitar), Anthony Aguiar (Guitar/ Keys), Phillip Munsey II (Bass) and Kurt Allen (Drums) is one of LA’s best kept secrets/musical gems and have made their bones as one of its most exciting live bands. They channel many influences to create a soulful rock sound that rings retro and fresh with a ton of swagger. And Dennis’ has a vocal howl on him that can scrape the ceiling.
