We will see you at the Live Wire Season 2 Finale! This is the final taping of live music for the 2012-2013 production season. Join us for this event at Clazel Theater in downtown BG.

We’ve got a great lineup for this show! Since it is the finale we’re pulling out all the stops. Doors open at 8 pm and the music will start at 8:30 pm.

Live Wire Campus Show! – Rescheduled Oct 29

Goodnight Argent had a mechanical failure with their gear trailer and had to reschedule the performance from Wednesday. So here are the latest details we have for a new date.

A true celebration of College Radio and indie music! Join us as we present Goodnight Argent live on October 29th in the Bowen Thompson Student Union multipurpose room. This is a free show that will be taped as a special episode of Live Wire season 2! Bring your friends and enjoy this free live concert brought to you by WBGU-FM and our very own Andrea Adams-Miller.  T-shirts, stickers and giveaways will be available throughout the show. This concert starts at 1 pm. Do not miss it!

Also – a special night time show at Grounds for Thought!  We will host Goodnight Argent at Grounds for Thought at 8 pm.  If you have work during the day join us in the evening downtown!  All shows are free.

2nd ANNUAL INDIE 5K RUN/ WALK

WBGU is hosting it’s second annual Indie 5K Race this September 22nd at 9 a.m.  WBGU 88.1 FM is hosting this event to help bring the community together to support local radio in Bowling Green. Every participant will receive a 5K race shirt.  Race check-in begins at 7 a.m. on race day and we will begin the race at 9 a.m. at Perry Field Field House. Fill out the shipping information as you would fill out a registration.  Nothing will be shipped to you, this is just being used as away to register your information.  Liability forms will be signed during check-in time the day of the race!  Registration cost is $20 on the day of the race. We are happy to announce that Live Wire, our Live Music Show will be airing on WBGU-TV (Channel 27 and more) starting in the Fall Semester.  We are happy to have a nice relationship with folks at our PBS affiliate!  This is the Dumb Easies performing “Fading Away”.
