0Greetings to all of you in radio land and beyond.
What a killer week. Killfest came to Blondies in Detroit on Thursday and Sonata Arctica was there on Saturday. Adam Walter and I were at Killfest and Dethtone was at the Sonata show. The mosh pit at the Overkill show was most brutal. Adam and I both sustained minor injuries. Tuesday night on Infinite Metal I’ll be broadcasting interviews with Bobby Blitz from Overkill and some of the guys from Warbringer. Next Monday Dethtone will have an interview he did with Tony from Sonata Arctica on his show. Stay tuned for all of that plus your regular metal goodness.
As for music, we have the new Dilinger Escape Plan, The Ocean, Rotten Sound, Scale The Summit, Shadows Sanctuary, and Dark Funeral among others. The Shadows Sanctuary has a great power metal/NWOBHM feel to it and I am digging it.
Until next time,

0Greetings to all of you in radio land and beyond.
We have another metal DJ: Adam Walter. His show takes place Saturdays at 8:00 P.M. He tends to lean in the technical death metal side of things. Check it out.
Tonight (03/30) on Infinite Metal, we will be welcoming professor, author, and Fulbright scholar Dr. Scott Waalkes. He will be discussing his book The Fullness Of Time In A Flat World. It connects solutions to the problems of globalization to observance of the liturgical year.
We got a lot of heavy records added this week including, but not limited to, Ambush, Lair Of the Minotaur, Ov Hell, and Svartsot. Until next time,

The Metal Report
0Greetings to all of you in radio land and beyond. Last week was a great week. Adam and I checked out the Megadeth/TestAmenT/Exodus show in Indianapolis on Thursday. I also had the opportunity to interview Oscar Dronjak from Hammerfall and see Hammerfall on Saturday. Listen to Infinite Metal tonight starting at 8:00 to hear the concert report and Oscar Dronjak interview. I know that Jimmie and Jasin both went to the Scion Rock Festival and probably have a few tales to tell on their shows at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and 4:00 P.M. on Saturday respectively. Also, Scott Waalkes, the author of The Fullness Of Time In A Flat World will be on Infinite Metal on 03/30 to discuss his book. While the book is not about metal it is an interesting and insightful book and fits in with the show’s usual discussions of politics and socieity. As for new records, we now have the new Fireball Ministry, Gamma Ray, Raven, Uriah Heep, Demon Hunter, and White Wizzard. If you like NWOBHM, make sure to check out the White Wizzard release. If you do not know what NWOBHM means, check them out anyway, they are great. Until next time,

0Greetings,
We’ve added another set of brutal/heavy CDs:
- Devolved – Calculated (Unique Leader)
- Arkaik – Reflections Within Dissonace (Unique Leader)
- Suffokate – No Mercy, No Forgiveness (Century Media)
- Karnivool – Sound Awake (Sony)
- Carnifex – Hell Chose Me (Victory)

Keep a look out for the upcoming Gamma Ray album and Avantasia double album. I’m quite excited about both. Also, there are some great tours going on this spring. Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, Hammerfall, Overkill, Sonata Arctica, and Primal Fear (although not altogether) are on the road. It looks like a bunch of great shows are coming up.
I hope everyone is enjoying a brutal Valentines Day.
