Freewheelin’ Franklin has loved blues music since he was a young lad. He saw John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters perform back in the 70’s and the rest is history. Speaking of history, he loves blues from all periods, old, new and in-between. A student of the genre, he is always reading about and listening to new & old music in an effort to learn more about it and to find great underexposed tunes to share with listeners of the Blues Breakfast. His favorite way to enjoy his music is to attend live events and talk with the musicians themselves about their lives and music. Check out his show—he’ll certainly play you some music that you’ve never heard before!
