Yo just wanted to say: Brewski, your tracks are tight man, real talk. Some of my buds from BG told me to tune in to your show for some real hiphop music. I’ll be listening in every Tuesday night. God bless! Respect

What the hell’s up with all the automation? You lousy kids today just don’t like music! How can you not find live jocks for the 8p-2a shift? You rotten kids drinking your 4Loco and listening to Def Leppard. Pathetic.

Now get off my lawn and go spin some tunes,

I come from New Delhi,India. I am writing for the second time, and will continue to write given the magnanimous show Radio Alchemy is. The show only gets better each time-there being several reasons for this. Firstly, the show is much more than just songs being played, which is what makes it a class apart. The show offers insights about the recent happenings in music throughout the world. For someone like me,this could only prove to be a boon. And secondly, the most beautiful thing that I like about the show is that it tells about new and upcoming bands- Wild Nothing and Tame Impala to name a couple. Never has been an instance when I haven’t fallen in love with each of them. I already had written in my last post that my life depends on music. This show is undoubtedly is the best show that I stumbled on to. People used to say “Take a guitar, change the world”. It would be no exaggeration when I say ” Listen to Radio Alchemy and you are close enough”. And yes,not to forget classic rock, played at times in the show, only proves to be an icing on the cake.

Need to know who to contact and where to email some tracks from one of chicago’s hottest underground hip/hop artist? “Dame Dilla” NorthPole Entertainment. Most College stations in Illinois are already down branching out so hit me back!

    Dear Wbgu,
So I noticed there’s an error on your site on the shows tab where there’s 3 talk shows listed and one music. I know you guys have a bunch of other shows on your station and am wondering why one show gets attention over the others. I haven’t heard of this glitter show but I’ve heard numerous other ones and feel they need a tab. this to me just shows favoritism to some show i’ve never heard.

    Your fan, Jimmy.
    Keep on a keepin’ on!

    Jimmy,

We run a volunteer ship here. The shows with tabs are willing to update their own content. We’re in the process of a new site. These will change shortly. Also, the shows listed have been longtime programs on the station. When you click the show tab once it pulls a full schedule.

Radio Alchemy – Kayla always has an amazing music selection and introduces me to new music that quickly moves up my list of favorites. Her on-air personality is highly addictive listening and her passion for music shines through her voice. Great show.
