The 2014 fall taping schedule was surreal. We worked with so many classy bands and we cannot wait to put the music out there for you to hear and see. Be on the lookout for Season 3 as it is coming to WBGU-TV in February. Check local listings for exact schedule.
The Afternoon Rush
Premieres on 88.1 WBGU-FM, August 2011
WBGU-FM is proud to announce the premiere of the newest daily radio show built for the BG community. This is the Afternoon Rush. “When you are driving home from work or class, what is important to you?” said Stephen Merrill, Advisor for WBGU-FM, “this is what we’ve designed the Afternoon Rush to address. Ryan Seacrest isn’t going to talk about what’s important for BG, and if it’s in the newspaper it’s old news within hours of printing.”
Hosted by Craig Sullivan and Rebecca Priebe, the Afternoon Rush focuses on the news of Bowling Green, area sports and blends the unique personalities of two students with the best music college radio has to offer. “It’s a new day for media,” said Rebecca Priebe, “we’re here to connect the community, from campus to the far reaches of Wood County.“
“I want to shake every hand on campus, in town, or at least share dinner with every person I meet when on-air,” said Craig Sullivan “that’s the level of connection we plan to cultivate with this show. We’re gonna be everywhere, and I can’t wait to give out free stuff to our listeners. I also can’t wait to show off Rebecca’s beautiful voice,” said Sullivan.
“We have Dave Horger in the morning, now we have Craig and Rebecca in the afternoon” said Merrill. “This is an exciting time for WBGU-FM, BGSU and the BG community. You can expect WBGU-FM to be an integral part of the BG community for many years to come.
The Afternoon Rush airs Monday – Friday from 4 -6 pm beginning August 22, 2011 on 88.1 WBGU-FM and online at wbgufm.com.
