I am a retired WBGU TV producer (1982-1985) who has moved back to Bowling Green after working for CBS/PBS/Telemundo for more than 20 years. Currently I am the Managing Editor of Salsa Magazine (the digital on line version of Latin NY Magazine (1973-1985)where I was the music editor from 1977-1979. I am also the founde of WEPAwebTV which has attracted nearly 2 million viewers on line since launching in March 2010 in Bowling Green (programming is a mixture of Archival Film and current world music) I have at my disposal more than 20,000 MP3 recordings to create programming on WBGU Radio. It would be an honor if I could set up a two hour weekly program wherein I can use this material mixing music and arts news. you may contact For at more information at 347-526-2670 or skype me at elextreme2

7 days to the premiere of salsamagazine.com Espiritu Salsa show on WBGU FM 88.1
Espiritu Salsa EYE ON LOCAL BUSINESS News Series: Main Street USA

Our new FM Radio show premieres on Sunday January 8th on WBGU 88.1 Bowling Green. In addition to World Music, the show will have various segments including profiles on local businesses in the area. We have been producing a series of these reports in advance. Floyd Craft owns several busineses in Bowling Green (Ace Hardware and Ben Franklin among them) that serve as an anchor for the Main Steet Strip of shops that keep BG vibrant and financially secure.
The New Espiritu Salsa show will feature Salsa-house/world music plus multicultural Arts news in its ArtBeat Segment hosted by Becky Laabs – proprietor of Art-A-Site in Bowling Green and one of the hosts who took over the reins of the Television show after I left WBGU TV in 1985.
As the original producer of ArtBeat for WBGU TV (1982-85), I am honored to have Becky on board who has a firm grip on what’s happenning in the regional art scene via her studios on Main Street in BG.
